The pattern for this bookmark originally came from the crochet one, but I decided to make a pattern so knitters could make one, too! Enjoy!
MATERIALS:
Some scrap yarn in a color of your choice
Scissors
Yarn Needle
Whatever you want to decorate it (beads, tassels, etc.)
Crochet Pattern: Ch 8, sk 2 sts, 1 hdc in ea st. Ch 1, turn. Repeat until your work measures the length you desire. Fasten off.
Knit Pattern: Cast on 8 sts. Work in stitch of your choice until your work measures the length you desire. Cast off.
For both: Weave in ends. If desired, add fringe or tassels, etc.
